At Abacus Homecare (Bromley) Ltd, we have a number of vacancies for both home and Live in carers in the Bromley and Biggin Hill areas. We are registered and regulated by the CQC and cater for a broad range of Clients with varying needs and requirements. Comprehensive training programme

All Care workers will complete a comprehensive training programme including the Care Certificate and during their induction, will ‘shadow’ experienced Care workers prior to commencing work. Abacus Homecare (Bromley) Ltd are committed to providing the best possible care to all Clients and that’s why we continue to provide and promote ongoing training and development for our Care workers.

Live in carers

Some of our Clients require 24-hour live-in care due to a range of complex health conditions or care needs. Our Live-in carers need to have a positive outlook on life, along with being extremely caring, kind and compassionate. They need good verbal and written communication skills in English. They also need to be experienced in preparing nutritious home cooked food and will be required to carry out daily household duties. It is important that Live-in carers encourage Clients to maintain their independence where possible.

Home care services

As a member of our home care team, you will be expected to travel between Client’s homes, completing tasks such as personal care, supporting with their medication requirements, companionship, domestic duties, shopping, or accompanying Clients to doctors or other appointments. Each Client has their own personalised care plan for you to follow. We are always looking to expand our team, so get in touch to enquire

    Note: Minimum age legislation dictates that care workers in general must be 16 years old or older. Please inform your interviewer immediately if you do not meet these specifications.

Individuals have rights of access to data that is held on them and rights to claim for damages if various offences occur. This covers manual as well as computerised records.

    In implementing the legislation, Abacus Homecare Bromley Ltd adopts a simple and straightforward policy that is, so far as is possible, easy to understand and unambiguous in its application.

    If you are unsuccessful in this application, we will keep this form on file for 6 months should you wish to be considered for other vacancies within the organisation.

    Workers of the agency are subject to the Health and Social Care Act 2008, and will be subject to a Police Record Check through the Disclosure.
